How to sell cryptocurrency for cash in a bitcomat?

Where do you scan the QR code and where do you scan the barcode (barcode)?

Two codes are visible on the printout: the upper QR Code and the lower Barcode .

The first one – QR code – is a code used to deposit cryptocurrency to an address in order to be able to withdraw money in the national currency at a bitcoin ATM. bitcoin.guru .

We are flexible on this issue and offer several ways to resolve the issue. This amount will be added to your next payout if you send Bitcoin to the same address, or if you have several transaction codes with such an unpaid "end".

We will sum them up and add them to one code, enabling cash withdrawal at a Bitcoin ATM. bitcoin.guru . It is also possible to make a refund, however, amounts below 10 PLN are only refunded for the DASH cryptocurrency, because in the case of other cryptos that we support, such an amount would not even be enough to pay the miners. Therefore, we strongly recommend adding them to the next code and withdrawing on the occasion of the next transaction.

It is also possible to select the "QR for a specific PLN withdrawal" option. Please enter the PLN value for withdrawal and generate QR. The wallet will select the amount of Bitcoin so that you receive exactly the amount you declared. This way, there will be no "endings" below 10 PLN or 10 EUR on the transaction codes.

Bitomat in my location does not work

We regularly check the status of cryptocurrency ATMs, but if you want to speed up the process of solving the problem, you can mention the location of the non-functioning device on social media and/or through one of the ways on the Contact Us page. We will take care of it immediately!

My transaction is "stuck" - not started in 1 block

Due to unusual network issues, it is likely that the normal fee was too low for the transaction to be triggered in 1 block.

This troublesome problem is due to the specifics of blockchain technology. Due to our experience in solving this type of problem, we are ready to help in many ways, although in 95% of cases it is enough to wait 1-4 days .

To sum up the guide, if you have made a purchase, it is possible for us to speed up the transaction upon request. However, then a higher fee for miners is charged. The fee is not deducted by bitcoin.guru .

If you have sold and the double spend option is available to you in e-wallet, we encourage you to use this option to speed up the transaction, however, in this situation our system will first automatically block this transaction. It will be necessary for us to manually unblock it so that you can withdraw the cash. Therefore, please inform us quickly if you use the Double Spend option.

Bitomat doesn't hold as much cash as I wanted to withdraw

We replenish bitomats regularly, but it is possible that information on one of the ways available on the Contact Us page will speed up the process at the indicated location.

If you found out about insufficient cash by scanning the withdrawal code, the bitomat will ask you to choose one of three options:

- return the cryptocurrency to the indicated address
- return the cryptocurrency to the source address, i.e. the one from which it was sent.

Do not choose this option when you sold us cryptocurrency through an exchange, or you have a changeable address in your wallet. Keep the code for depositing funds.

On the page bitcoin.guru it shows that the transaction in the block is being confirmed, and on Etherscan it shows that the funds have already been credited

Sometimes the transaction status update is delayed. If the problem lasts more than 1-4 days, please contact us. We will solve the problem.

I'm waiting a long time for the transaction to post. What to do?

When making a transaction via bitomat, we specify the amount of the miner's fee. We do this using the slider on the screen. The more we pay, the faster the transaction will be completed. The amount of the fee is on average about $2. It goes to cryptocurrency miners in various places around the world.

In 95% of cases, the long waiting time is related to the insufficiently high fee for miners. We recommend waiting up to 4 days, and next time increase the fee for miners (in the bitmaker you set it with the slider). If you are concerned about the time, or it has been more than 4 days, contact us with the transaction ID and describing the problem.

What is a miner's fee (miner's fee)?

Why was my money blocked and on what legal basis?

If your money has been blocked during a transaction, it is most likely due to the administrator's obligation to carry out an AML procedure imposed by the government. The law requires the administrator to check suspicious transactions. You should not worry if the money is from a legitimate source. As soon as possible, complete the transaction you started or return the money.

How much is the limit after which I have to scan my ID?
